World renowned guitarist, Ricardo Garcia
will stage a concert at the main auditorium
of the Kenya National Theatre on Sunday,
November 17, 2013.
The international flamenco artist based in
Spain is presently on a one-month tour of
Nairobi for a series of concerts and
workshops alongside his crew, Joe
(percussionist), Yasmina Pulido and
Frederik Gom (dancers).
Last week Tuesday, the crew drew fans
and spectators at the Sarova Stanley,
Nairobi in an evening of authentic Spanish
music and dance. The Sunday show
‘Flamenco con fusion’ will see the crew
perform with special collaborations from
Zakale Za and musicians, Aaron
Colversion (violin), Nathan Okite (Electric
guitar), Krit Pateni (Flute) and other
instrumentalists.
The group ‘Flamenco Flow’ headed by
Garcia is known for its blend of folk music
and dance originating from Andalusia,
Southern Spain.
